How do you know when a tag gets reset?

And, when a tag is reset, can anyone grab it? Or just you?

Anyone can get it unless you have a spaced version.

If you are watching v1 gamertags and it resets the page will look like this. *NOTE* if you can NOT claim a tag that appears available, it is black listed/deleted by MS and you can not claim it regardless.

Reset gamertags must look like this, with no avatar, no rep and the original white xbox gamer picture.

However, if someone has a spaced v2 gamertag like this (e.g "Gangster" v1 has been reset but the spaced v2 still exists, so nobody can claim it other than the owner of "Gang Ster"
