How do I convince my Mother to sign me up for a gym?

I don't think that would work since I barely eat anyway. The weight gain is just from me doing nothing at all for about, a year? I go out to play basketball and stuff like that, but i really don't do "exercise".

Do like yoga or p90x in the living room or something, lol.

Read the first post i made for this thread. I stated that I am going to be walking/jogging even if I do get to go to the gym.
 
I personally am going to get in more shape this upcoming summer, dont go to a gym, your better off just buying yourself some barbels and stuff. I am starting my daily 5k run everymorning now once school ends

Yeah, I'm going to be doing that too. I just need a gym so i have some place to go everyday.
 
A place to go everyday? To work out correct?
You could always Build yourself a shed or something to go to everyday and just relax/workout

Yeah, I wish i could. It would be awesome to have my own little shed to myself.

I'm not only going to be walking, I'm also going to be jogging.

mate if youre having troubles doing just 15 push-ups then you should start off small, cut down meal sizes and go for walks
 
Go to the local gym, meet with the director and tell him/her your situation and they may make an exception or talk to your parent for you... Best of luck, fitness rocks!

Actually. Walking can make you lose as many calories as running.

Running increases your endurance/stamina.
 
Get in a fight with her, purposely lose. She will notice you are a weak tit, and force you in the gym.
 
Step 1) Get aggressive, don't be a little wimp.
Step 2) Say you need to take your frustration out on something (punch-bag etc)
Step 3) Show her your fat?
Step 4) Say you're being called porky etc.
Step 5) Convince her.

Obviously running is better. :p
But they are acting like walking does nothing.
I'm going to have to buy a treadmill if I don't get signed up for the gym.

Tell her that if She wont let you got to the Gym then you will start Drinking "Drinks that help you get protein and shit" and loads of Energy drinks and stuff.. Moms hate that..
