How did you get into graphics and art?

I personally wanted to build websites, so I started to read tuts. and different websites.

Years later, I have a found appreciation for it all and am glad with my decisions.

I got into programming and wanted to make slick and sexy interfaces, then I became popular on certain forums and wanted to make a signature. Once I realized how hard it was, I got into it in depth, and I have been stuck with it since.

I never liked reading graphic design tutorials.

The only time I used them is when I couldn't do something. Like the snow-flake effect, I did for someone a few weeks ago.

I started off with MS Paint. Upgraded to GIMP and maybe in the future, get PhotoShop.

I've tried to get into it constantly, but I can never seem to grasp simple concepts. :/

At school we started doing photoshop, i enjoyed it so went home and learnt more.

I've been into art since I was a child and have been into computers since then as well. I started requiring graphics knowledge when I started dabbling in game and website building.

I've always liked drawing since the age of about 5.

As the years went by, I explored different methods, techniques & styles.

I had a computer class that was mainly a graphic teacher. She made us do a lot of art such as billboards, shoes art, etc...

I also started by playing around with sites and logos... Once I started, I became addicted! ;) I have tons to learn still, but it is a lot of fun for sure. Just getting heavy into text right now.

I had the feel for arts since childhood but I started working on Photostudio in may 2009 by myself, after that I moved on to GIMP which is still my favorite and later in 2010 I pursued Diploma in Visual Effects from Maya Academy where I learned Animation too. Still there's a long way to go for me and considering my age I consider it only the start.
