How did you find runescape?

I was in fourth grade in school and my friend showed it to me. Yeah...fourth grade, i'm oldschool.

Two friends played it, they talked to me about it.
I think I was in 5th grade.

In 2004, I saw my dad playing it on Miniclip and I thought 3D games were so cool so I tried it out. Was stuck for so long in the mage part of tut island, I couldn't figure out how to kill the chickens with wind strike ._.

My best mate when i was 6 i use to watch him play and he taught me how to do mining so i use to spend my afternoons mining for him, he then taught me everything else, i helped him get 85 mining

I was like 8. Yeah. It was March of 2002, and RuneScape, (which is now known as RuneScape Classic) was the game that my two cousins played. I went over to visit my one cousin at my aunt's house, and he was playing that shit all day. He scammed a R2H when it was the third best weapon in the game that same day. After watching him play the shit for like 8 hours (I should have realized then how addicting it was based on how hooked he was) I went home, and started playing, and have been playing ever since.

Well, not exactly, as I've taken 6-18 month breaks quite frequently and haven't played right through for 10 years.
ex. I quit for like two years in 2007 when Jagex originally removed pvp and free trade.

But yeah, cousins got me into it. I think they found the shit on miniclip at the time, although I can't be too sure.
