Call of Duty How did I get Marine camo?

Today I was playing MW3 and I went to put a different camo on my MSR and after i put a different camo on my MSR I saw something below gold. I went back and discovered that I had marine camo. Can anyone tell me how this happened. I dont have elite premium but I am in a clan that just reached like level 12 or 13. I am also 2nd prestige, level 80. Did anyone else randomly get this? I did see one person with it on his GayCR *cough* *cough* ACR in SnD a few days ago but just thought he was a hacker.


Edit: I think I figured it out. You just have to sign into elite. My friend signed into it today and got it. Hes in an elite clan. The same as me. I dont know if that impacted it at all though.

yes i did um i think you get it if u sign up for elite or get into a clan.

really because I had another account with premium and I was in a clan in the 20s I think but i never got it

yes i am but i didnt get it on my other account and i had premium... its banned now lol
 
The marine camo has been unlocked for everybody now. This was stated by infinity ward.
 
DO you unlock this after gold?

nope i had a level 1 gun and i just put it on it

i was the only one of all the people i was playing with (like 6) that had it though
 
You get this by being in an Elite clan, must be a certain level though.
