House Burgled last Saturday

So it was my girlfriends 23rd birthday and we had booked a room in a nightclub, spent £500 on a Micheal Korr watch and a few driving lessons. We left the house about 7pm, returned about 11pm for drinks with friends and i noticed id left the key in the front door before we had gone out. We went in and no sign of a burglary. I was with a few cousins as well and we went to the downstairs kitchen for more drinks and ended up staggering to bed around 4am. I awoke around 10:30am feeling like death warmed up and went into my living room and noticed my Xbox One was missing, nothing else, not the wires, kinect, games nothing. My controller was even on top of my console so they would have had to have taken it off to move the console, but they left the controller? I have a 50'' LED TV too, as well as my car keys, GF's handbag, corei7 tower and not to mention, the Michael Korr watch. I was very glad obviously they only took my console and nothing else but it's still very strange. I think they sneaked in through my front door whilst we were in the kitchen drinking, maybe got disturbed when someone started to come upstairs for the toilet or something? the police recovered two fingerprints, one off my kinect glossy black adapter and one off the hdmi adapter, im the only one in the world that has plugged them in so its either them or me. Any opinions on this guys? And please, no trolling its a touchy subject, just feels good to speak to someone about it, thanks.​

That's pretty crazy man, they must have not realized how much the watch and PC were worth. Lucky they didn't take anything else.

I'm sorry but here in the UK if your house is burgled then it has been "burgled", what the hell is your problem
 
It was me. I stole your Xbox One, I thought an OG GT was included with it.. Anyways, I want a refund.

All jokes aside, you seemed like you had a great night that day. You should install some security alarm shit or buy a bulldog to watch your house.
 
Damn dude. Sorry to hear about this. Must feel really shitty. If anything you should be happy they didn't take anything worth even more.
 
Good nothing else was stolen.
Maybe the person wanted the og that was on your XBONE :)
 
Folks, just a heads up... the term "Burgled" is just another way to say "Burglarized". I've seen and used both terms here in the United States.

Just because your 7th grade English teacher didn't teach you the word, doesn't mean it's not a word.

Yes, we are insured too so will be fine in 6 week, I bought a new one yesterday anyway because i work full time so luckily I could afford it, thanks @johnnyg I reported the post it was disgusting. (It's been removed ;))
 
I feel so bad for you it would be so creepy to have that happen also did you post a message of that on xbox smartglass i saw someone add someone then I went to the profile and it said heroin addicts did it
 
@alcatraz i checked my recent activity and it had been logged in 14 times about 9miles from me, I removed it from trusted devices and requested a profile download. Then changed the password, alias etc......Thanks for the concern.
