Today, I will be providing you with all the information you need to become high quality, and more respected member on Rune Gear.
First off, as a new member, you need to know that there are certain rules and regulations that you will have to follow. These rules can be found here.
Some of these RULES include the following:
Rules:
1. No spamming posts. All posts must be of high quality.
2. Game hacking/cracking software is allowed.
3. No infected links may be posted
4. Scamming Rune Gear members is not tolerated.
5. Signature links must not contain competing websites and or forums. (Any game sites)
6. Any warez released must not defy any member's intellectual property.
7. Any tutorials must contain a link-back to the source of discovery.
Basic Etiquette:
1. Flaming members is not allowed.
2. Threats against members are not allowed.
3. Threads discussing other members negatively will not be tolerated.
How to navigate around the forum easier
Since Rune Gear is a big community, and has a lot of threads and posts, you can use the search bar to cut down on less spam. Say you have a question for example, instead of making a new thread or private messaging the staff, you can use the search bar to find your question. With the search bar, you can search for the following…
- Entire post
- Thread titles only
- Specific members
Since this community is large, there are search options to help you find what you need; these options may include…
- Finding threads with a certain number of replies
- Finding posts with a certain requested date time
- Sorting your results by either; last postdate, by the author, or by the specific forum it is in.
Rune Gear Announcements
An easy way to find out major events for Rune Gear, like a database update or a hosting change, or other important announcements, is by visiting the announcements section, which can be found here. This is the most important section of Rune Gear. Everything that is happening on this forum, goes here.

There are six main tabs on Rune Gear. These tabs help to better organize the placement of each forum. These six tabs are

Nudges
The nudge system makes it so much easier to find out if someone has replied to your thread(s), or maybe have quoted or tagged you in a post. It’s basically a notification system that allows you to keep track of your threads, and posts that you were tagged in.

Now that you have a good understanding of the rules and how to navigate the forums, I bet you’re wondering, "How can I support Rune Gear?” Well, I'll tell you.
We currently have TWO user groups that you can buy to show your support.
You don't necessarily have to pay for it with money; I'll get into that in just a second.

• Ability to delete your own posts.
• Permission to post attachments of up to 40,000 kilobytes large.
• Permission to change username.

- Member of the Month is a contest that members participate in to be acknowledged for their contributions to Rune Gear.
