Help with slayer?

With slayer being a profitable skill, and given the ability to complete tasks with friends, I've decided to give slaying another chance. My question is, should I use a cannon? I've seen many videos where people 'power slayed' and it seems to rack in a fair amount of experience per hour. My only concern is that, because I have a 22m bank, I don't want to blow all my money. Will the drops I get from slaying eventually break even with the cannon ball cost?

All depends on what you want to do, if you enjoy the task then do it manually. If not then cannon!
