Help please!

My Xbox is being gay and icant figure out how to fix it. I turn it on and the fan immediately starts blowing then maybe 20-30 seconds go by and the red dot appears. I've googled and can't find anything someone please help! I have the Xbox 360 Slim.

Might just be over heating, my old xbox got that all the time. Make sure there's no dust build up near the fan, or on the sides of the xbox.

Put a fan facing the back of it, when you're ready, order another fan and swap it out (if the fan you put behind it seems to help)
