This is Vanquish, typing up another long page of text.
I'm sure right now some of you are saying "Haha look at how long this is" and I'm not going to be able to notice you reading this thread, but that's fine.
I'm not going to try to make this long, but to the point.
My cousin Kyle is in the hospital right now, and my aunt (his mom) had to actually rush him to the hospital.
He's been diagnosed with Muscular dystrophy at around the age of only three years old, and he's been living with it since.
There are many different types and variations of Muscular dystrophy.
The type he was diagnosed with is Duchenne muscular dystrophy if I'm not mistaken.
He's 27 years old, and the doctors gave him a life expectancy that he would only live to be about 13 years old.
Knowing that he's double the time the doctors recommended is astonishing to see, and most shocking is that he's never complained a single time.
He's never said a word about how he hates being stuck in a wheelchair or how he hates his life, or jealous of other kids, not a single word, but back to the story...
He's in the hospital right now with a respirator down his throat keeping him alive.
I came home from hanging out with friends and my dad woke up from me coming home.
Whenever me and him started talking in his room he read the text messages and he read a text message from my aunt saying that he is being rushed to the hospital because he isn't responding to her.
I just want everyone to realize how good of a life you all have.
You are all living, walking, going to school, embracing a career, partying with friends, living a life that more people than you can think about that kids will never be able to live.
Be happy with what you're given, no matter it's value or meaning behind.
Don't become jealous over such small things, and don't be afraid to experience anything worth trying.
Say a prayer for him if you want to, and keep him in your prayers if you choose to.
If any further things happen to Kyle, I will update this and post a notification on this thread also for those of you who do care.
