Well, the current staff choose new staff members, and atm I don't even know if they are looking for new staff, but you just gotta be an active helpful member, and if you're lucky enough - you'll get picked

Maybe;p. Just don't bother people about it (aka: ask for staff) that'll get you no where except negative reputation, and a guaranteed spot on the "DO NOT GIVE STAFF" list.

I don't really care too much. I am going away over the Summer so I will probably just close my account for a little if that is how it works. Is ForumKorner like Facebook in deactivating accounts?

You can ask to have your account banned, and then have someone unban it later. Or just log out and don't log back in until you want to ;p
