Hey everyone. First post here but I hope to learn a lot and become a known face around here. I was phished in July of last year through a very, very nice email and website (see picture below). Basically, the email claimed that my account received and offence. Now, typically I would have avoided this as I know better than to fall for it. However, I had been botting on my account and figured, "Well crap they caught me." So I clicked the link and logged in. Upon checking my account status the offence had been removed due to a "fault". Well, it didn't take long for me to figure out that it was just all a big scam. To make a long story short, I lost just about everything - about 150-200m total. Luckily, I really had not been playing much at all and in some ways did not care, but at the same time, that was 6-7 years worth of work you know? Luckily I still have the account as they were only interested in the items.
Ever since that happened I have been intrigued with the thought of phishing other accounts. I've gotten a few here and there though some odd methods, but none have been anything significant. Now, I do happen to have over 1k unique and valid emails that I managed to scrape off of a botting forum. I've been sending some mass emails, but none have turned up anything because I haven't been using any sort of good method. My question to you guys is how can I capitalize on these emails. I thought of basically doing the exact same thing that was used to get me. I would claim that they have received an offence due to their botting, since they are from a botting forum after all. I would never in a million years thought that I would fall for a phishing attempt, but I did so others are bound to fall for it as well. Anyways, any tips or suggestions that you can offer are greatly appreciated. Thanks!
