Have "Kudos" Died?

By all means, I am not a supporter of giving kudos, as those who will look at my profile will find out. However, over the course of the past few months, the number of kudos given out has drastically decreased. As of late, I rarely come across a thread, or post, that has received kudos. The question must be asked. Is a simple thing such as clicking a button to show admiration for a post coming to an end?

I rarely give kudos out, but I have received a good bit, I don't think it has died, people are just wary of what posts they give kudos to.

Yeah like nab said people are just sometimes picky of what posts deserve kudos.

I think people just began to ignore the whole concept of kudos. As @seven said, awards are not really valuable anymore. They are more or less just for show.

I honestly think that kudos don't seem like a sort of "like", so people don't give them out as much. They're seem above a like, imo.
