Hey everyone, I am launching mine and "OmgItzBluffer's" (aka dayton) new forum.

Http://www.hangoutzone.net

This forum is just a chill and relaxed forum just for casual talk and such.
We have a coding section as well for us "programmers" to be talk technical with each other and a market place for us marketeers to sell virtual items in.

The first 30 members to join are placed in the "Original Members" group. These members basically have the same features as VIP.

Ability to give positive and negative reputation
Ability to customize their user-title
More PM space than regular members
Ability to add images to their signature
Can edit & Delete Their Own Threads & Posts
Ability to make polls

I am in need of a userbar for VIP and "Original Members" group. If somebody is interested in taking a crack at making a userbar for these groups I would greatly appreciate it. :)

P.S. We also have awards setup. I am planning on setting up an awardCP sometime soon too.

I have activated everyone so far and have promoted most people to the original member group. We have to activate users manually at the moment. Once it gets decently active, we will setup automatic email activations. :)

Everyone that has joined is now activated and has been placed in the Original members group. :)

Interesting forum, the name is pretty relaxing. Sounds like it can be for those who just want to kick back and relax with friends on the internet. I'll go ahead and give you a review as I see. This review is obviously my OWN personal opinion and please don't take offense to anything I say, I'm merely trying to help you out. I've been a forum owner of two alright active forums in the past and I'll let you know what things I did wrong and right.

Cons
Too many sections.
Lots of empty sections.
Original group should just be an award. When the forum gets bigger, that group will cause confusion and drama.
Might want to look into a new theme. Or more than one, for more choice.

Pros
Active and friendly (You.)
Social tab (Helps promote.)
You have contests running.
Have members, make them promote the forum more. Word of mouth is the best way.

All in all, not a bad forum and I wish you luck with it. Hopefully it will grow.

Thank you for the great review. I am thinking about maybe changing the forum's theme later on as it is a bit "bleh" or "dull/plain".

Before I do anything I need to talk everything over with the other owner/admin. I will go over the Pro's and con's with him and we will decide on what changes need to made.

I finally got AwardCP setup on the forum.
Everything seems to be working pretty well and quite stable. We need this forum to grow though, so tell yo mama, yo daddy, yo sista, and even yo brotha about it. Lets get this shit going, ya feel me?
