Microsoft has officially confirmed that Halo 4 will be hitting the shelves worldwide on Tuesday November 6th, 2012.


This is actually nice to hear, I though it would be released in late December, based on the fact they had stated it would be Holiday 2012.

How do you feel about this release date?

I know right? I was expecting a whole month after that! I'm really happy to hear about this! I would have hated to hear late december.
 
I am already disappointing by halo 4. I probably won't even buy it. It just looks like a halo reach remake. Guess its time to go back to halo 3 and show these faggots what halo really is. I thought 343 would be doing it more like halo 3 and 2. However they are making it exactly the same as reach. Almost 100% the same. It looks terrible.
 
Halo 4 is going to be gay. I'm going to buy it to check it out but it will be stupid as fuck

100% agree. I'm thinking about playing a lot more halo like I used to, hit me up on there too if you want.

I agree with most of that. I hate the Halo Reach feel. Halo 3 is where it's at.
 
Also I haven't been following halo much recently, who is 343?

I think it's 343i, there a newer company. I think they helped a bit on reach and they did the remake of Halo:CE. I can't wait till they announce the limited edition copy of halo 4.

They did not do the remake of Halo CE. That was another outside company to my knowledge. But they made Waypoint and have contributed quite a bit to the Halo Franchise.

I'm really excited for this game to come out to, but with armor abilities included it just doesn't feel like Halo. I personally think they should get rid of the whole sprint and jet pack thing all together, it ruins the competitive edge that the previous Halo games offered.
 
I cant wait for halo4. I think it will be a good Game. Is there going to be halo3 maps in it? Or is it all metal and concrete like halo reach?
 
I hope the multiplayer doesn't suck. They need to get rid of the armor abilities.
