To be honest, filling out applications doesn't really work out.
You have to be liked to get into groups or do something outstanding.

This isn't true. I only accept people into Alpha that I feel will represent it well, and actually be excited to be a part of the group. It has nothing to do with popularity in my eyes.

Have you seen those threads? They want you to fill out a job application lmao, and then don't even accept you. Best way is to get known and then make threads like these.

Or just put effort into your application. I joined several groups this way. It gets your further than you think.

This exactly. It's what group leaders look for when they're reviewing applications. If you just copy and paste the application, and fill in one or two word sentences and that's it, of course you're going to be denied.

Also, and REAL high quality group wouldn't add members that make these threads.
