Group Price Plummet

When I first registered, groups were selling for upwards of $150 - even $250 in one case. Besides the fact that the group count has increased, what is the cause of the price being torn in half? I see groups being sold off for a mere $60 these days, and it's displeasing.
Is anything going to happen about it, or is this the new normal?

With there being 30 groups, I'd say this is the new normal.

I hope not, and the reasons people sold them for so much before is because they were "Exclusive", and "The best group on FK", like bitch, the group is going to be changed.

The amount of groups and the little amount of effort most group owners put in is the reason for the low price. Group owners seem to not enforce rules and some just let anyone into their groups. If it were actually hard to get into all groups and if there was actually activity in all the sub forums then I feel as if prices would raise. I remember two years ago when a group being sold for $250 was cheap as hell and would be bought instantly and some groups sold for $500+.

When I Start making money again, I plan on picking up 10 groups and hoping philly will let me delete them.

I am about to make a rule on a minimum price group owners can sell for because I agree that people are being super cheap as of lately. So badly it is to the point every single person that buys something trys their absolute hardest to not support the website and try everything humanly possible to not have to pay the transfer fee's set in place to strictly raise money for website costs (which are not cheap, and only rising each day forward).

How does a group exclusivity alter the price if it will just end up being changed anyway? Doesn't make sense to me.

If anyone can get in a group then they aren't desireable, but if it is very difficult and very hard to get into groups then everyone will want it.

The only way to fix this problem is to remove alot of the groups. Unfortunately @philly can't just delete them without compensating the owner.

I had a group, it was exclusive af. Then i sold it for $100 agc. But there are too many groups, and they are being sold for hooker money.

Sorry, I tried my hardest because I didnt want to pay 50$ on a group I only bought as a favor to @Rambo (if you are speaking to me).

However, my idea to fix this is to make an activity REQUIREMENT in groups by site admins, and inactive groups be removed automatically.

I agree with statement Astro, something needs to be done. Since I joined I purchased a group almost immediately, have not considered selling it. I have seen around 10-15 groups go up for sale in the past month. Pathetic as fuck.

The only solution is to reset the supscriptions aka groups I think.. On a other site there are about 10 and I seen one go for 1,000+!!!

If I could go back a few months, I would have deleted the four groups I had. That goes for @Shade too.

It's your fault for selling so many groups. Don't blame any other people. It's all about supply and demand, baby.

i really wish there were only 3 or four groups, then they would actually be worth something and being in a group would actually mean something. raising the minimum price at which they could be sold for isn't gonna do anything, nobody is gonna pay higher amounts for a group when there's 30 others. honestly someone needs to make an investment and buy all the groups and then delete them. a fresh start with a low amount of groups would be really nice.

that would be the only fix however no one has the money to do that probably the owner on here would have to refund?

idk it's not my problem but it is honestly the only way to fix it.
i mean if narc had the money to buy a portion of fk then im sure there's enough money to fix this
