I find it important to keep the scan lines to be distinct between you and normal members. Unless you want to be exactly like normal members in terms of appearance, I don't see a problem with it.

I'm going to go ahead and work on some basic userbars, not going to bother with scanlines. Going for a sleek Mac-like type thing, if you know what I mean by that. If you don't, grays that are bright with some softened emboss to create a small shine, and maybe a ribbon thing going on.

If they look anything better than my current custom user-bars, I'll be glad to add them.
Can't wait to see what you have so I can add it to the OP. Make sure you put every user-bar in one post so I can quote the text and paste them easier.

Here's the v1 of the reviewer graphics as for now.
It still needs work on it but I've done it alone in Photoshop. I hope anyone likes them.
