Got pulled over in Mexico. Corrupt cop. Extorted me

So I went to Mexico, that was my first mistake.

I went to Mexico to talk to a Datacenter about some servers I wanted to set up. Anywhore, I'm crazy lost because there's no mapquest in that part of town I was in :(
I'm driving the speed limit and I get pulled over by this cop. I'm like fuckkkk. I didn't even do anything wrong.
I asked the cop why he pulled me over his answer was, You're Not from Mexico and you're white. Was basically his answer.

FYI I'm a light Complected Mexican so I can pass as white, I guess.

He said "I'll go away if you give me some bills" He asked to see my wallet I showed him it he told me to open it show him my money. I had $400 on me. Which was my deposit for my servers. He asked for $360, I gave it to him. :(

Else I would have been in jail. In MEXICAN JAIL
 
Wow that sucks dude. I can't believe shit like that happens in other countries.

I can , have you seen how they live? and how corrupt everything else is down there? Not saying its right because it's not, but it starts from the top and trickles down.
 
This sounds like Mexico to me. You shouldn't went by yourself.

My dad told me about jamaica was the same. They pulled over a car ahead of him and demanded 50 bucks or he was in jail ( It was a check point thing).
 
We are really lucky to not live in Mexico because shit like that is pretty common over there. I'm sorry that it happened to you.

I would have showed him my black top hat and said in Heisenberg then drive away. That could have worked ;)

True, It could have been worse.

I was only in Mexico to buy some server space, it was a lot cheaper. I run websites that I need servers for.

Sorry I couldn't get the servers sucks I lost so much. But all this time I was like I was stunned like wow this is happening to me. Even in the states I never carry that much cash.
