Got a suggestion for Middlemans

Hi Honeys.

Well lately i have been hearing about a lot of Middle Man's being accused of scamming people.. Even when innocent , Especially by new comers to the forum. Vice-versa.. Middle mans scamming others.

I suggest there be a new thread for middle mans that they can update every-time they do a deal. (Like a vouch thread) The thread can keep record of all the deals they do and proof that they went successful. This will not only give middle mans more protection and security, but also show people that they have done many successful deals.. which they can view the proof of it.

1) It would help people on the forum to pick suitable middle mans for their deals, they can view proof that they are suitable. (reduce scamming)
2) It would also give middle mans security and protection from people trying to set them up for scamming (All important information would be recorded) I'm sure that would make them feel more confident.

Its a strange idea that i thought of, It could also be tweaked and improved as well. Something for you guys to think about xxx :D I'm not sure if this idea has ever been thought of. I'm just bringing it forward xx

I would like to state that I support this idea 100% with @Cupcake although this may not reduce the scamming...

1) The middle man may decide it is time for him/her to leave the forum but they would like to go out with a 'bang' and scam their way out.
2) Doesn't matter how many vouches someone has; it doesn't eliminate the concept nor eliminate the risk of being scammed.

In conclusion to this I would still like to see a thread for 'Middle Man Vouches' just so you can see who is deemed the so called 'Most Trusted MM'

If there was one of these systems there may actually be less scamming in some areas.

For example if people are able to choose a middle man and look at the proof of all there successful previous deals, they can decide themselves if they are the best person to help them on there deals. There less chances of people choosing random middle mans or people that are not suitable for it. (Could potentially reduce scamming from people that are trying to trick you)

It would also give middle mans more security when dealing with newer members.

True, true it is a really good idea imo. I hope this gets implemented into this forum.
 
Or just make it so you CAN'T middleman unless you're verified, simple.

I'm one of the most trusted people on this site and old heads could vouch for me, too bad they gave up once the mid 2013 and 2014 swarm came in.
 
I agree with this.

I think @hobs idea is stupid because I do not trust my even more of my personal information with @philly or @"raptor".

The idea is good. However it's really hard to trust middlemans aswell. As some just scan out.

Look at what @astro did.

That's why I find it hard to trust a lot from this forum. But there's quite a few who I trust a lot. @fedoras @agony/solic/toxic/yournextname
 
I do understand, @"the Host" , surely my suggestion would help you find the most trustworthy middleman based on the forum thread that i speak off. :D xx

For example you would be able to find a middle man and review the proof of successful deals and make judgement.
 
What would be even better would be an actual feedback system on the forum which is separate from "rep" and can only be used when you make a deal with someone / middleman.

Well yeah, I've suggested it before and nothing came of it and it seems logical to me. It's also not hard to deploy as as I use it myself.
Good luck getting a change though! Would be nice to get something like this added, but unfortunately nothing can actually prevent someone from scamming regardless of how hard you try.
 
I agree @hobbs, we can always take measures to try reduce them and try to make the community as safe as possible xx :D
 
Thank you for the tag @Cupcake but I usually never Middleman since I'm always busy 24/7. If I ever decide to MM I'll open a thread


This seems like a constructive idea though

Before you joined FK there used to be a vouch system in place, I had the most vouches on the site also :D

Yeah there used to be a system like that awhile back, I have no clue why Philly removed it though. It was called the "E-Z Trader System" or something along those lines
