Good games for PC? (NOT STEAM)

I just got a new computer and I was wondering what games would be good to download to play on it. Not steam games.

Most good games are on Steam, however you should get The Sims 3 lmfao

To tell you the truth, getting Steam is worth it. Otherwise, Titanfall will be coming out this March, I'd recommend it if you like Futuristic FPS's.

Titanfall is amazing. JS
but also Origin has Battlefield etc.
Indie games.

I don't want to pay for these games, that's the thing. So if anyone knows of any good FREE games on steam aswell, please let me know. Thanks!
