Good desktop?

So I have a monitor and everything, but i am just looking for a nice desktop that runs smoothly and I dont know much about desktops. I want one that was decent memory that has fairly good reviews. Do yall have any recommendations?

What is your budget? And what do you plan on doing with said desktop?

Really just for school and just doing everyday things. The only game I really play is runescape. and m budget would probably be like $250
