I haven't given out a single reputation on here. I just don't like the whole system with it, If I give someone a reputation, it's because I have a serious opinion on them, unlike others who just do it for the hell of it, I'm not like that here.
If I were to change my ways, I'd just be like most of the community here, and that is no fun. So don't give me a reputation, and expect one back. I've had that, people rep me and I don't offer one back, a day later, I notice it has been removed. Makes me laugh a bit.

I suppose, I just find that it defeats the purpose. It's meant for your opinion on the member, not just a "oh hey, here is a green apple." Giving it out like a female dog in heat.
The good thing with the vouch system we have here, is that people won't be idiots and think a member with a ton of reputation, is "trusted." So even if people ask for reputation, or their friends give them it, it saves the community from potential scammers that use this system as a scapegoat. None the less, I'll give out vouches after doing deals, that's a given. Giving reputation if someone talks to me a few times and then gives me rep. No, not happening. That's just me though, I like that style and I've decided to keep at it.
