Getting back in to RuneScape

So, I've always liked runescape, but I haven't always had an account to play on. My main account was hacked, so then i had to resort to my shitty secondary account. That got negative membership credit, so I couldn't play anymore. Today I paid off the negative credit, so I can finally pay. Problem is, my account is COMPLETELY SHIT. It was made in 2005 so at least I get the veterans cape when it comes out, but other than that its SHITTY.

What should I do?

Should I resort to real world trading to buy some gold to get back on my feet? I literally have 350k in my bank. If so, what site is best to buy off of?

Also, should I start botting? Are the chances good of Jagex catching me?
