RE: RSPS Idea - Yes/No?

The RSPS is now up! I got it semi-running. It will be hosted off my computer with hamachi for now, as I can't port forward. As soon as possible, we will be removing the need for hamachi. Also, the server will not be 24/7 unless demand increases. Just download hamachi from:

https://secure.logmein.com/products/hamachi2/download.aspx

Get the unmanaged, and then install it. Click Join a new network, under the Network tab.

Then, just download the client and login!

At the moment, we are going to look like a complete rip off. That's true. But, we'll be quickly progressing into our own server, so just bear with us. :D
 
What is your server base?

Also, you should do like 800xp per hit. A server won't catch that much attention anymore with like 200xp or so. A lot of people will play if it's like 800 or so and you don't get money really fast. Also, if you don't add anything past 474 i'll play. I just cbf to play legit 200xp per hit.

It's PI based. There is already custom items, I personally think it's very leeched. But I guess PI is a great source.
 
Currently it's extremely leeched, I admit it. Which is why we'll be doing as many changes as we can in during the Alpha/Beta stages. Upon the actual release, you will be amazed. ;)

And, it does have some customs like Godswords/Bandos/Armadyl. I hope that wont make you want to play.
 
Ah, too bad. It's not 100% PVP, but we will cater some things for PVP users. Just like the old Runescape did.
 
Bro is this the one I said I'm interested in? Also do I really need hamachi or can I just dl the client. This looks good bro.

Indeed it is. And, currently you do need hamachi. :-/
 
I need to tell you this straight up front.
Why are you asking for donations when you cannot:
1) Guarantee a stable server.
2) Not even have a 24/7 server.
I would donate if you could get a 24/7 dedi, and I think beta testers should get some abilities too.
 
We are just trying to get some extra funds. We have plans to get a VPS with our own money, though. And, beta testers do it just hasnt been listed yet. ;)
 
You should post some pictures man, I wanna see what I'm about to play with before I proceed :p
