Honestly my favorite headset is the Tritton Pro+, had them 2 years and nothing wrong with them, sound quality is proper surround sound, the lot, control each speaker with a center console on the headset, if you haven't checked it out I do recommend, it's doesn't cost a shit ton either.

If you plan on getting a pair and wanna use them on 360 make sure you order a TalkBack cable. Cause when you get the Astros off amazon they come with a new gen2 mixamp and there is no TalkBack cable.
