What kind of recording device should i get, I'm thinking about buying an Elgato Game Capture HD60, but i'd like to hear what you guys have had and what works for you guys the best.

So if you have any good ones, let me know! Thanks.

I have a HD PVR that I used to use when I recorded, it was awesome. Worked great and everything, also very easy to use.

I have the Elgato (not sure what model) bought it in July, still works fine.
I had the Roxio HD, piece of shit, unless you'll barely use it.
A couple of my friends have the PVR, they say it's a pain in the ass to set up.

HD PVR's suck so much cock now. Get an elgato. Super simple and best quality you will find.

I have a HD PVR2 its done me well had it for quite a while now too:)

Get an Elgato man the wind back feature is a life saver if your snipe or forget to record and get a gameplay etc :)

most likely will, and they're on sale too! Just need to buy a monitor or a new tv lol

I have a Roxio HD pro and a HD PVR but my roxio seems to work better

Get an Elgato HD60 or a Avermedia game capture. Both really nice devices.

I had the first Elgato and I had delay issues, I bet it was only me. Elgato is easy to manage, recommended.

Yeah they say if your ram is below like 8GB you're gonna delay, however I usually pause it, when I'm about to record hit play then pause, play whatever I'm recording, press record after game etc. then pause, works perfect, no lag nor delay on the vid.
Anyhow OT: I would recommend the elgato, simply for the fact of me having mine since Jan 2013, no problems with it at all, and the nicest quality I've ever seen:')

Buy yourself a 'blue yeti'. Directly hear your sound when talking to it if you have plugged a headset, it's decent.
