Game Hacking/Cheating

Does anyone here hack games or cheat in them?

I honestly don't think I have done any cheating in a game since I played Grand Theft Auto on my Playstation 2. lol

GTA was one of those games where you could have tons of fun without sticking to the story line and doing the missions. I just went around using cheat codes and having fun.

I have glitched in games such as Runescape, but I don't really consider that hacking/cheating. It wasn't anything big that gave me any sort of gain over other players.

One of the glitches was the red skull glitch from back when bounty hunter was around. Not sure if the item lending thing is considered a glitch or not. The one where when you go into house options and have the original owner of the item take their item back. As long as you didn't move, you were wearing their item that you no longer really have. We did that with my phat and got about 25 people to wear my phat at the same time at the grand exchange. lol

pls stahp copyin threads i alredy done uno liek dis one

Well, I cheat in games if you're able to, but not until I complete it and it is a single player game. For example, on GTA I won't do any cheats until I've completed it to 100%, missions, side missions, hidden packages, stunts, etc. But I won't cheat in multiplayer games, probably boost a little bit to get something like a camo in CoD games, but stuff like flying and making me invincible and unlimited ammo, no.

You really did one like this already? My bad. Is it an old thread or new?

Anyways, I agree with what you do. It makes the game less fun if you cheat in order to beat it. Should always beat it before you do any cheating for fun. And I am glad you don't do stuff like that in multi-player games. Doing things like that completely defeat the purpose. Honestly, it would lose its luster within a few hours and wouldn't be fun anymore.

And boosting? I never really understood the point of it. Plus that isn't fun at all? If I want a camo on my gun or something, I just use that gun way more often then normal and then become really good with it.

EDIT:

I don't see any threads like this one made by you in the gaming general discussion section or the gaming hacking section.

Haha, I see. Well this one is a little different. =p

Anyways that thread is more than three months old so people can't post on it without grave-digging.

I am sure you could have gotten those 2 head shots almost just as quickly in a normal game without boosting. ;)

EDIT: @"Daniel", I updated my original post to add a little bit more in hopes for more discussion.

I personally love developing exploits for games, releasing them is a different story.

That has always seemed like a really cool concept to me and probably many other gamers as well. You are probably very gifted at it.

Do you mind sharing some examples of exploits you have developed?

Check the section on the forums dedicated to it.

I can't be fucked to post the shit that I have, I usually post one when I have it on hand during use.

Seems cool. Made me think of the days when I loved pokemon. Red was my first one. :)

I am almost tempted to try that out if it still works.
