So instead of banning them permanently from the forum, a forum of members they have scammed or could potentially scam - you give them a nice special usergroup? I really don't see any logic in that, that's ridiculous. Scammers should be permanently banned - no second chances. This usergroup is hardly going to discourage users from scamming, if anything, it will make them think "Oh nice, I can get paid $100 to join a nice special usergroup".

This forum is dedicated to RS Hacking and scamming, and the fact is, we are expected to get many quality members who do lack ethics and scam, but also add quality to the forum. Most scammers, nonetheless, don't stay on the forum whatsoever due to the ridicule they receive from other members, and end up getting themselves banned. Not to mention, if someone is going to scam, then they really don't want to stay on the forum.

Okay, so I could go scam someone now for $200 and stay on this forum with a nicer usergroup colour and userbar? Carbon is the only example I can see of an ex-scammer who is somewhat HQ. That's no reason to basically encourage it.
It's not like HF where it's too big to moderate the market, you can. Have it so you and Mike approve users to be able to use the market. Or invest in a plugin which forces new users to read a thread advising them not to deal without a MM, then spend time actually building a working MM system, or do something.
I can't believe how moronic this is - I'm certain it's not just me who thinks it. Most scammers would leave because they're probably going to get banned anyway, now you're just giving users a monetizing method.
What would you prefer, user A scam user B $100 but contribute 20 posts a day to other sections, or have user B, a quality member who posts 5 times a day - but has been loyal to the site, not lose $100...? You need to get rid of this group bro. Fatal mistake.

How many ex-scammers have you let stay unbanned apart from Carbon? The reason Carbon is the exception because even though the guy is probably the most moronic tool on here, he's done more for RG than all apart from TE himself, yes, including you Mike (my opinion ofc). So I could understand why he's not permed, even though I'd of permed him in the first place but that's a debate for another day.
Scammers = False deals with the intent to steal money from innocent users and give no return, right? That's the sort of user you want "contributing" to your forum? Shame on you.

Market Ban? What is this? A title made just for Carbon? I see no other active members here that fit this tittle.
I proposed a Trade with Caution group that people would be placed temporary when their is a scam report against them then they will either be banned or removed from group to their original.
