I find it funny how i Moderate a section of this forum. But i don't do any of my school work.

I am homeschooled and have been since around 4th grade. ( I went in and out till 6th ) But i always make up a reason why i don't do my school work. I have sleeping problems. Due to the medicine i take. And i go to sleep around 5am - 12am and wake up 3pm - 10pm. I have a mindset of not caring if i pass or not. My future career paths are either going to be a computer technician of a car mechanic. Two things i love. Computers and Cars. I sleep all day which is my main reason i don't do school work. Which is valid. But i still have the night to do it. And at night i talk to friends. Go out, play xbox, or go on the internet. But i DONT do school work.

Like i said i have the "time" to moderate my section. But i still don't do school work.

Personally school just pisses me off. Its not that the work comes hard to me or anything. Its the fact that it aggravates me. Even more so because to learn stupid pointless shit that you will probably never use a day in your life. Another thing is i DO NOT have to have a Highschool Diploma to get any of the jobs i am looking at. I would either have to go to a vo-tech for Mechanics. Or a trade school. And that goes the same with computer tech.

Another career path i was considering is joining the Airforce. Either to work on the planes. Which is another type of mechanics obviously. Or to do something with computers. Or electrical technology with the planes.

On average it only takes me 1 - 4 hours of working on school and i will be finished. I can also take breaks and do it whenever i like.

I dont want to be the Highschool dropout. But i literally can not tolerate school. And im only 14. I still have years to go. The reason i left public school is i was having heavy anxiety. Which lead to fighting with alot of teachers lol.

I know i theoretically have to do school. But technically no one can force me. And i know at the end. Legally. There is no way i can quit now, Im too young. And honestly even if i did dropout in the future. It probably wouldn't be the best idea. And i understand that.

To sum it all up what i am saying is school stresses me out to the point where i cant handle it. And i kind of have too. I get aggravated even beginning my classes and i shutdown. And like i said if you read everything. I make reasons of why i don't do my work. And im sure hopefully some of you can relate.

I know most of you are not going to read this whole thing. But instead of doing my school work i decided to make a thread saying why i dont do my school work.

Sorry if anything is misspelled. I haven't slept in like 2 days and im trying not to take 30 minutes ranting.

I dont really get Homework lol. Like I do 6 hours of work every day, then go home just to do the same thing for another hour.

Just makes no sense to me

I just read your whole rant. There are a lot of other people with this problem as well.
Back when I was in High School (graduated last year) I did absolutely no home-work, at all. Unless it was extremely important and needed.
I still managed to graduate on time, at the age of 17 and with good grades. So you not doing home work really depends on the type of HW that is being given.

"I know most of you are not going to read this whole thing. But instead of doing my school work i decided to make a thread saying why i dont do my school work." <<--- This was my favorite part of your rant btw. Lawl

If you think you can pass the test for it, try to get a GED.

Leaving for school in a minute, I hate every waste of a day it takes and the only reason I mildly enjoy it is too talk to my friends.

i feel you man.
school pisses me the fuck off.

I fucking love going to school. I go there to hangout and and talk to bitches!(I'm 31 btw)

Im in English right now :(

I was pretty much in the same boat, when I went to public school I usually ended up leaving cause I didn't wanna sit there for fucking 7 hours and school just hasn't ever been my thing. I'm currently 16 with 2 credits as a junior in high school. I'm getting my GED I go to school Monday - Thursday able to go in from 9 am - 3 am on my OWN schedule.

I haven't been in school for years. I agree with you though, on the amount of pointless shit that no one would actually use in their daily life. I got my high school diploma just to have it, and I didn't mind going to school, I got to see my friends and what not.

I never did my homework, I just did the things that mattered, like big projects and stuff of that nature.

Just got home for lunch.. I am not going back today, fuck that.

Would you like some commas with that?
Run-on sentences are the best sentences.

And im not sure if you guys are understanding. I am HOMESCHOOLED. Its not "Homework". Its the entire school curriculum.

Honestly, I would have to say that school is pointless. Education should be rendered optional and entertaining. That way, most should then do better and have a desire to learn. One should also be able to choose for himself/herself regarding what will be learned, along with how much time spent at any day. This would grant them unlimited time of their own for thinking, getting to know people, finding their own paths in life, and their drive to do what they love most.

Our current education systems have us get up very early in the morning. This prompts us to either go to bed early, leaving us with little time of our own; or get extremely tired and uncomfortable once getting up. During school, we must sit idle as we tediously attend the lessons. I find that to be no help at all in reducing the obesity rates that are substantially rising these days. When the last bell finally rings, most will be left with tonnes of homework and study in worry of upcoming tests, quizzes, and exams - another significant factor that abstracts us of our own free time.

I personally and with all honesty do not at all care about school nor do I regarding my 'future.' Why do so many of us care so much about our future careers? The cycle seems to repeat in many cases; we go to work early in the morning, and return home late in the night. Only that this time we are maintaining our income in order to be able to eat and sleep with a roof over our heads. I ask you all, what joy is there from that? What true joy may it bring from having a decent house and car? Unlike my father and probably the rest of my family too, I will refuse to follow all that - I intend to pursue my lifelong objective which is to do meaningful things such as helping people, regardless of how much I rise or fall. Only your friends and those you love should matter. When everything else falls, you will still have them.
Spend and cherish every moment you have with your friends and loved ones. Never allow anyone to tell you otherwise.

People are able to type out 3 paragraphs on a thread reply but can't do one paragraph for school. Amazing. :)

I am in my senior year of HS (thank god) and literally do 1 piece of hw a week that takes about 30 min.

It depends on the person if you really need to go to college or not. If you drop out of high school you are kind of fucked unless you get lucky. That's if you want to make 75k+ a year haha
