Now as you can see these rules hold a very important place in the overall behavior of RuneGear as it allows Staff members to keep a firm grip on what goes on throughout the forums.
If your ever problems finding something you need, the Search tool provided. After searching the forums, and have done all possibilities I suggest making a thread or private messaging a staff member too receive further assistance with your issue.
ii. Grammar - Now being able to read a thread, let alone know what the thread is based about is a major part of having a successful community. Now having good grammar and being a grammar natzi are two totally different things. Posting things such as, "h3y bro can u liek give me teh auth 4 frees" isn't going to get you anywhere. If you posted, "Hey, could you think about possibly giving me the auth for free" would portray that your a being a genuine person, who actually deserves the auth then the person with 8posts and who leeches all day. Remember grammar isn't everything but using proper English (or your preferred language) is a good idea when posting/ making threads.
iii. Remaining Calm Under Pressure - When being faced with a heated issue, it's best to keep your cool. Face it, throughout every form your going to have those people who will flame and troll everybody, but you don't need to be that person. Try not too feed the troll or flamer. Keep your cool, in fact don't reply back as this will make the flamer/troll upset and he/she will probably leave you alone. If such continue's add the user too your Buddy/Ignore tool offered.
iv. Warnings/ Reputation - It's not the end of world it you receive a warning/ reputation. If receiving a warning for flaming, take it as a sign too improve your overall forum etiquette. Now reputation, it's buried within the upgraded members of the community and staff members. It's a very powerful privilege and most cannot handle it which can result in rep abuse. If you receive a positive reputation be happy, it's a sign your in a good direction on RuneGear. If you receive a negative reputation, don't whine. Try too apologize too the person and tell them you respect their decision of your negative reputation. Later on in future, if you do become an upgraded member, don't "revenge rep" or "threaten them with mass negative reputations from your friends" because all this falls under reputation abuse. Even the giving of positive rep for positive rep is against the rules. So please, before positive/negative repping think about if the person your giving the reputation too really deserves what your about too give them.
If I missed anything you would like me too touch on, please feel free to private message me. Hope I helped and happy foruming !
