I am level 89 fletching and buying magic logs &bow string at ge at making magic longbows, i am wondering if fletching can be turned into profit as i am just braking even.

You make profit from it by making Yews

If you make magic longbow's and String them you end up losing money

If you do the same with yews you end up gaining money

But not that much money Like its not worth the hassle tbh

How much profit is made from yews?

It obviously depends on what the G.E prices of what you are buying.

Yew long (u) 396 Gp
Bow String 186
= 582 to make a Yew longbow finished

Yew longbow 666 Gp
So you would make 84 gp profit(or something like that) for each bow you make
BUT
If you wait too long to sell them, the G.E could update and you could dramatically lose profit, So if the price of Yew longs go down lower than 582 before you sell them, than you are going to lose profit of course.

It all depends on how fast you can make and then sell the bows.

I made money getting 99 from 63... Like went from 20m to 40m. some of that may have been from slayer, but it's the general idea, just buy yew logs (if you want) if not just buy yew long(u) and bow strings and string that at 65 xp per string, that's 1.8k exp per inv..

Maple logs > Maple Longbow(u)

Makes a few gp per. I made like 100k-300k off of like 50k of them. aha.

If you: buy the yew logs + bow strings + nats and you alch your strung bows you make money. I did 5k yew longbows and I made $170k. It's not much, but its better than losing money.
