I am merging another forum to FK, and will have to shut down the forum for about an hour while I preform the merge. Just letting you all know ahead of time.
 
NO this is going to be the worst hour of my life.

I shouldn't even allow you to advertise justices forum on FK as its a complete rip of FK basically. I am not hating. You are. Respect is key dude.

I dont think he merges because of the content, he does it because he gets more search results and traffic to the site form the other sites he merged with.

Your sentence doesn't make sense. It's the same as saying "I don't eat chocolate because it tastes nice, I eat it because I like the taste". The whole point of merging databases is useful content, useful content = search engine traffic. This site had no real useful content from what I can see, just a bunch of "General" topics which FK has probably already covered.

The other reason of merging databases is stealing their active members and having them active here, but that other site was pretty dead so that rules out that.

I bought , and buy databases for,
content
members
traffic

The site has a few active members, and had a lot of decent monetizing methods. As well as 100-200 hits a day. Once the nameservers propagate I will be redirecting the traffic here. I also plan on sending a mass email out. Hopefully bringing a couple of their old active members back.

It only costed 20 bucks, and brings FK more members, and traffic. I feel I made a great buy. I will always be down to buy forums for cheap when I see decent content, and a decent amount of members.

Once I send out a mass email I am sure at least 50 members will come and check it out, once they do I am sure they will stay.
