Designing and [soon-to be] coding my first website from scratch.

It's like 10% done. So much more to do..

Opinions so far?

Ehhhh it's alright. I could do better with my eyes closed.

Looks good to me. I don't make websites so my opinion doesn't really matter.

I like the top, that text with that background is really nice, the rest, just nope, I don't like it, you could do it better!

Webpages that have EVERYTHING on a single page are overwhelming. Think of it like your computer files - it's comparable to dumping everything on your desktop.

Your main page should be little previews and snippets of your work, testimonials, fields of work, process, brief bio etc. It should be like the 'appetiser' to get the viewer/customer interested, a taste of your work and personality. Let the dedicated pages for each section of your website act as the 'mains', where they go into detail and immerse the person viewing them, whether it be with imagery or writing.
I think you should go for a more organised approach, using albums to separate each section of your portfolio (which is a bit messy). The top/header section is quite nice, however this time it's too bare. It's like going from one extreme to another.

But as I said, I recommend dividing each section of your website into separate pages.
And yes I realise you said it was 10% done, but those are just my impressions.
