I just figured I'd post about possibly becoming a DJ with my friend. His dad has all the equipment and we only have to work for like 4 hours if that for 400$. We would split 50/50 so 200$ of pure profit.

Ways this is good: Spending more money on my car ;D

Bad: Not a lot of time to do this seeing how I have football from 5:30 to 8 or longer.

Are you an experience DJ? You need to be really good if you don't want to get kicked out of the club.

I'm turning 16 in 12 days. No but it isn't hard to do when the people you play the music to are drunk. He just did a reception two days ago. I've learned how to use the DJing program so and it is quite easy!

I wish you good luck. It's actually fairly hard to DJ when your in the moment.

Well he said that Saturday was like cake. He turned the program on and took requests for a little bit and then he just put it on "autopilot" and danced haha.

More or less yes, but you don't need to buy all "professional" things.

Yeah your very lucky to have that opportunity. I would go all out to work for your friends dad, mainly because it's hard to become a DJ with absolutely no investment. Also, you wouldn't need to go to school anymore if you became a full time DJ. A friend of mine is a pro dj, and he travels all around Canada. He makes around 1k every night, and he does this all week. He makes more in 4 months than my Dad does in a year. Provided that he works every day of the year.

Ask them about it, and try to keep a budget.
