Very simple, put a oval grey-ish overlay (Basic shine) across the White within the circle, might look good.

 

[Cannabis]

It looks nice. It's still rough, but it looks nice. You could try putting a gradient from top left to bottom right for the sake of a lighting/shading effect. Maybe give it a drop shadow in the same direction as well.

 

[APHEX]

Really nice man, try centering the A a little more in the circle and adding a bit more shading to the circle. Otherwise it's really great for a first try, good job!
