Fire cape question

Well, I never got around to getting, or even trying, to get a firecape on any account I've ever made... But I would just like to know if I could possibly get a firecape on this account? (obv not using ranged, hoping if it is possible to get a firecape with just mage+melee...)

Nope range is way to low I suggest 90 range.

its possible, I've gotten an f cape for someone with an awkwardly levelled account near to that it took me nearly 3 hours extra time than normal though because you typically NEED 70 range.

You need higher range man. You use range to get through the waves.

I see. I was just hoping that it was meybe possible to get through them using ancients, but i suppose not. I guess one of these days i'll go ahead and grab a cannon and 10k-20k cannonballs and blow through the levels throughout an entire day.

Or you could go buy 20k chins, and chin the range levels. Really fast xp.

It's really not recommended to do Jad with mage, and with melee only at higher levels. Ranged is the easiest way at your level, but it'll have to be at least 70 to have a decent go :s

Just buy tons of purple sweets coz they're stack able. Then fill 23 slots with prayer pots, then the rest with your other gear. I wudnt reccommend saras at 1 def

Sweets are expensive though, don't use them unless you have some wealth. They also heal 10-30lp at random, iirc.

It's possible, I just saw a video where someone attained the cape with 50 range and 50-combat. Uaex v Jad had also slayed jad at 40-50 combat.

I would, nonetheless, aim to get at least 70 range, so I would save a lot more time, effort in the long run. It shouldn't be too hard, just quest, and use lamps (esp. from troll strong hold) to get 61. At 61-70, you can chin or use a cannon.

I already have 82 ranged now, and still working on it. got to wave 53 on my last jad attempt and died.

jad aint easy with low defence pures.
