fashion

Was thinking of this thread when my hypebeast friend told me he wanted to buy a shark hoodie.
Warning: Cringe-worthy.

Lol all I see is shit about bathing ape, that was hot back in like 06..yall are late as fuck

I wear a suit 5 days a week and just rock whatever the fuck I want to the other two days. People are too materialistic and just buy shit because of brands, which is hilarious.

I don't buy bape and supreme to "fit in," i buy their clothes because they generally interest me and i am into that style. I also am a fan of Uniqlo's clothing because it is very minimalistic but has very nice fabric and is easy on the eyes, I just bought a button down from there a few days ago and its one of my favorite shirts because it's the most comfortable button down shirt i've ever owned.

I hate people who think spending a shitload of money on LV or Gucci belts is "fashion" because it's from a well known brand. If you spend all of your money on one expensive article of clothing you'll look like an asshole wearing a bape hoodie with your dads blue wrangler jeans and some beat up nikes

i mean dressing nice is good, as long as you don't take the piss with it as I feel sorry for those who can't afford nicer clothes

i wear Ralph Lauren, topman, bape, armani, nike and much others

I try to dress nice to impress the ladies so I usually wear nice shorts, and a good t-shirt in the summer and a nike sweatshirt, and jeans in winter

these threads are interesting to me because fashion is one of my primary interests.

I always have to have a nice outfit on whenever I go out somewhere (I really hope most people do too). I shop at many different stores (online usually) for my clothes, also planning to study fashion designing in the future. dressing nice is v important

I've looked into FIT, also LIM and Parsons but I'm pretty sure parsons is expensive af because I think it's a private school. so many good designers have gone there though so I'm assuming it's worth it if you have the money.

I personally like designer belts, because they will last you for a long time, and they add a special flair to your outfit. I agree with you on that level, though. If you're financially unstable, and can't afford more expensive items, than you should probably not be splurging on such insignificant things, and rather put the money into other areas of your wardrobe, or into savings.

On the subject of WDYWT threads, I think we should start them up. Sure, we'll probably have a few dozen school shooters posting, but even with the small population of this forum that doesn't stash a M9 in their locker, it would be a great way to take inspiration and better our own fits. And, if we cannot get enough people from this forum to post, we should share our usernames for Reddit, or other fashion-based boards. Another idea is that we could make a thread where we share inspiration albums, or single pictures, as I feel this would be a good alternative, so we could all show our style!

80% off my wardrobe consists of suits & ties, dress shirts and dress pants. Dress to impress is the motto. I also wear a lot of Y&R and streetwear as casual clothing. People tend to show more respect to those whom are well-dressed and take pride in his/her appearance.

With that being said: yes. Fashion is important.

Yes, but not to the point you spend $300 on one piece of clothing. I have a few pairs of CK jeans and T-Shirts and stuff but the rest of my stuff is reasonably cheap, few AU/NZ brands I like that are actually affordable.

Although, if I had the funds I'd for sure purchase some Bape, some of the gear I've seen by them is so nice.
