Well, the last of my awards have been sold. So I am now leaving ForumKorner for good. There will be absolutely NO way to contact me from this point on. I have had an amazing run, and even though I made a thread for my retirement, and stated I would be leaving soon, I wanted to make a whole other thread for my farewell. I also would like to just summarize how I got on FK, and my time here in this thread. If you think that's boring, then don't bother reading.
I remember joining my first forum back around march last year. It was a site called GC. It was a small IPB site, owned by the user: Marijuana on this site. My friend Recoil/Obliteration had told me about GC. I was active, and quickly earned moderator, and then admin. Back then I went by the alias' Nightmare, and Cudi. I then joined another site called RzG (A decent amount of you know this site). I was active on their, and tried to gain the position of moderator. It never happened. From their, and a bit from GC, I had heard of "FK", and "HF". I didn't really know what they were, but my old friend Rarity aka Racks wanted me to join FK. I wasn't going to join, but I wanted an original aim, and I heard that the user Christy here sold a lot of them, so I joined, and bought a few aims off her. She quickly became my friend. From there, I bought donator, onyx, and power, and upgraded Bowser to donator in less than 1 week. I was a noob on here, and never posted much really. I only posted when I felt necessary, and I never cared about my post count. I had a decent amount of people on here I was friends with who were pretty nice. The majority included Christy, Gr33d, Phenom, Racks, Fav, Kev, and some other members. The only people on this list I can say are still my friends would be Christy, Gr33d, and Phenom. So anyways I was pretty active on this forum, but I just didn't post very much. I received moderator back when Quad had just made his own site, and many members were leaving this site for his. I didn't expect to be asked if I wanted the position of moderator, as I never really thought it would happen, therefore I didn't exactly aim toward getting it. With this being said, I was extremely excited that I got the position, and loved moderating the whole "Discussion" section. About a month later I was promoted to staff, and enjoyed it even more. Although I was in no way the best staff member, I think I did a decent job. I think why I decided to retire was because of a few personal reasons, and I started to not care much about virtual items anymore, hence why I have sold everything on here. Anyways, I only mentioned a few of the members I talked to a lot way earlier on, back in June and July of last year. I have had many friends on here since then. Instead of doing a shoutout, I will just say that you know who you are.
Sorry for the boring story, I have never been much of a writer, just thought I would type it out to anyone who cared. I did leave a lot out of it, but I think that is a decent summary. I will stay on for probably tonight and maybe a bit tomorrow just to see what people reply in this thread, or if people PM me, so I can send some responses. I appreciate any replies as well, even if I don't know you well.
So that's it. I wish everyone here, even members who I haven't gotten along with, good luck on this forum, and later in life.
Goodbye,
Kirby
