facebook friends

my parents always suggest me not to make unknown friends in facebook and many of my relatives support them. is it really bad???

No that is wrong, there is nothing bad to make new friend because at starting of all relations and friendships are just like a strangers.

I think your parents are just being protective over you. Anyway, it's even your choice if you add a friend in there or not. Just be careful on sharing your information with your newly added friends. It's not even bad if you socialized with other people, just be careful. ^^

I can't see any wrong with unknown friends if you not reveal your personal matters in the profile..You can continue healthy relationship with them...

I dont think it is a bad ideea to have facebook friends you can chat with them and it is not like you will meet them but if you develop a relationship with a girl or boy well you will like it.

yes in my view its bad because you should only make friends whom you know properly and you believe in them not the one whom you don't know. your relatives and parents are right in my view.

its not bad but soem times it is tru as you get old perv looking for young people on facebook and try to meet up and what not

Yeah, it's not bad, I have several of them too, but if you don't share your important information to them, then there's no problem, well I don't see any.
