Extra Verification on Member Sales

I understand we are trying to expand and gain members but also there are TONS of people just coming to scam but what if we put an extra verification system in place? It shows people that WE KNOW your information. There were always be people Joining just for the forums :]. Such as:


Stage One: $5 ---Allowed to post in marketplace Simple one time fee/One year. Allowed To Have Pin Sales? and post in buyers market.
Stage Two: Verification Of Telephone------- For sales $50-100, Allowed to sell GP, traders topics.
Stage Three: Address Verification: Mailed Cards with a code on them to verify the Address----- For sales over $100, everything else :p


If this passes I would be very happy to take full responsibility for It and handle all requests/acceptence/denials. Please let me know Thank you.

I found this quite funny, i was thinking about this before i went to bed last night, like how they do it on craigslist, i support this. It would really help filter the scammers from the legitimate members.

This is a very very good idea.
It'll stop all the 1 posters coming in and just trying to scam.

Well you should because it would defend against scammers.
 
It's a good idea, but for some people to be able to sell here they would have to go try to sell somewhere else to get the money to buy access to the forum. Assuming they're starting at $0, Which I'm sure is quite a few members.
 
i agree with this however does that mean the people who have payed for subscription have to pay for it?

$5 isnt much mate. if it keeps some scams out it will work not everyone comes for market + members are freely able to view just not sell.
 
What happens if you buy bulk, for example rs gp for $1/1Mill. And a person buys 60mill.
Do you need the telephone verification?
 
dont go getting all moody. i ment if your a member and you want to sell will you still have to pay zesh

It's a good idea in theroy but I disagree.

Im sorry but Iam not really sure why you would ever think/or post that No offense but I think you should re read that statement and realize how that looks. No admin would EVER release that. It would be a very BIG legal issue.
