Can someone please tell me what "OG" means, is it just slang for like "good" or what...

It means original. Normally associated with clean, non plural usernames.

Nearly everyone who spams sales threads as the first post writes "GLWS" even if they don't even want to buy or are interested in anything on the thread.

OG means Original Gangster but in the Gamertag scene its used for "Original Gamertag". A gamertag like Killer or Racer for example.
