EoC is going to not only take out a xboxhueg amount of legit players, but a majority of botters.

Prices of high value items will crash, including rares as everyone is selling them and cashing out the RSGP.

When RS dies, we die.

The more you know.

A lot of us here don't even play rs anymore, so I think we're going to be ok.

There will always be botters who are wanting to get their skills up. But you have made your point.

Where there is a will, there is a way.

People always devise new ways to bot, I don't see it disappearing.

Also, party hats are rising at the moment. Red partyhat is 20m higher than it was 2 hours ago. It is up more than 130m in 4 days. I am starting to think that the way combat is changing and the way skilling will involve less clicking that more people will do things like that to bring in money. The more money that comes into the economy, the more expensive rares get.

On a side note, bgs is at 4m now....I bought over 500 at 2.6m each and people thought I was crazy because "godswords would crash with eoc". Also, ags was down to 12m and it up to 16m now. That was a nice flip as well. You have to love taking advantage of panic sellers. =p

Looks like someone is new here.

Everything you said is totally wrong.
1. Most legit players actually don't mind the EoC update.
2. Everything is actually sky rocketing at the moment.
3. Most people here don't even play much RS anymore, let alone bot it.

Lol I panic sell everything. I just don't have the patience to handle rares.

Why? They updated it so people can do pretty much the same thing they do now. And they are adding passive effects to special weapons.

It's just not the same.

its like: i rather playing san andreas or vice city to GTA IV.

I'm sure it will make the game better, but sometimes worse is better :)

i'll probably still play it though, as will anyone claiming they will quit, runescape as a way of just dragging you in..

Yep, I "quit" Runescape but I still log in every now and then to buy/sell stuff. And there is always a possibility that I might actually play again.

Anyways, rs isn't dying and will probably attract new people.

I can't be asked to waste 3% CPU usage to bot RS. In 8 years of playing I still haven't gotten a 99.

I got no non-combat 99s and I started in late 02/early 03. Too repetitive and boring.

1. Incorrect.
2. The market is in chaos, I've seen DClaws sell for as little as 4m etc
3. Incorrect.

You can't claim the market is chaos just because one item has crashed. More evidence please. I provided multiple examples of items that are rising which is the opposite of what you have claimed. Also, none of these prices are final. Once eoc comes out then we will see how the market will truly react. However, it will most likely not stabilize until a month after release. Then of course you have to factor in more changes Jagex will implement due to player feedback.

And you can't claim the market is chaos based off of people shouting out random prices just to troll. The real proof is in the grand exchange prices. I had a friend telling me people were buying bgs for 8m in world 2 when at the same time you could easily buy bgs instantly at 3.4m.

Point made. Evidence > Claims.

You just proved my point, the entire market is unstable.
