Dubstep

I like some dubstep. And I think there are some melodies in dubstep that could make some really nice house songs (Noisestorm - Let It Roar, Skrillex - Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites, Day One - World's End are a few that I can think from the top of my head).

Guys like Zomboy, Knife Party, Excision and Skism and really good imo.

And I've seen lots of similar things to this

Yeah I know, that's why I said I have seen a few ones like this too. There was one that it was about Transformers where Starscream or some other robot was saying something really similar, "did they get our message?"

Agree. Chillstep will always relax me and it has happened to me that I've put a chillstep mix that is like 1 hour long and I fall asleep.
But there are some of the "hardcore gay ass heavy shit" (kind of how I like to describe it too) that are good. Knife Party - Bonfire, Rage Valley, Centipede, Fire Hive, Destroy Them With Lazers. Zomboy, Eptic and Skism have made some "songs" that I like.

You call yourself a musician but can't tell apart the difference? THere are many things that differ them. INB4 DJ's aren't musicians they just remix songs...

I love all sorts of EDM, Dubstep, Techno, Trance, House, Electro.. the list goes on.

It different in many ways, all techno isn't computer sounds maybe if you were a musician you would know. There are plenty of songs techno based that have guitar, piano and drums just like any of the shit you listen too. Before you criticize saying its all robot I suggest you look into it

That is how I pretty much feel, expect for possibly the really heavy metal music that all they do is scream and you can't understand anything they say. I just don't like any of it. But, I know there's lots of types of metal music (although I don't know any of them), so I won't judge negatively.

Just to have some other input, I love dubstep and pop, especially when there's a dubstep remix to a pop song. I do enjoy other genres, but they are mainly just either a certain song or two, or just one band/group/whatever.

A band called Atreyu does that really heavy metal screaming shit but they have a few songs that aren't 100% screaming and sound really good.

I find that to be too much screaming to be honest.. Let's see. I like Again by Flyleaf, but that's not really metal I would think. I can't think of the one song I like.. I do like some Dragonforce, but that's not screaming. There was one song I clearly remember that had 'screaming', but I forgot. I'll edit this post or what not if I remember..

Ooh, Ravenous by Atreyu isn't bad. I know that song from Guitar Hero. A little bit too much screaming, but it's a good song. I also like Suffocated by Orianthi. I know that from Guitar Hero as well. I'm listening to Suffocated as I'm typing. I really like this song. It's nice.

I still can't remember that one song. If anyone knows, I remember in the music video, some girl was like about to fall off a building, but a guy saved her, or something like that.

OHMYGOD, I found it! Bring Me To Life by Evanescence. Nice song.
