What do I do?
Besides disconnecting my internet (which I'm going to do right after this thread), what should I do to remove it. I understand reformatting my harddrive is a good idea but is there ways to go around this such as restoring to factory default?

I thought you were a nerd, you should know this stuff. Lol

Also, I literally first read the thread name as: "Download a RAT Now!!

OT: There are other ways, but you won't get it off completely. Malwarebytes is a gold way to start. It'll catch a lot of shit. Otherwise, time to get that re-install disc out.

When it comes to this type of shit, I'm clueless.
I just can't believe did it and I can't believe I opened it knowing well it would be a RAT.

Try downloading DarkComet remover and give a scan with that. See if It picks up anything.. Most people use DarkComet. Well accept me. (Black shades cracked 100% bae bae)

Yea. You could also restore your computer to an earlier time if you happen to have saved backups. Otherwise, gg no re you'll be having a fun night re-installing

Fuck it, I'ma' start from scratch but gotta' wait 'til the weekend to do so. Thank-you for the suggestions.

I say do the same thing as 187 suggested.
If you're using windows, search restore, and it should give you an option to restore back to a certain point in time.

Download malware bytes man, and run it itll clear every virus/rat/trojan and all that shit with one wipe. :))

Hi, @"Profanity".

Step 1
Download MalwareBytes from here and save it to your desktop.

First you need to ensure you have a decent antivirus (free ones are fine)
Run the file, Windows Vista and Windows 7 users should run it as an administrator
Run a root kit scanner to detect malicious registry settings.
A full computer scan will happen, the infected program will remove itself.

--------

Any problems persist, let me know.

I'll admit. Malware Bytes is THE thing to go to. Probably the best anti-virus program I've seen, and for free.

Of course not xD

I'm not a douche. I like everyone on this forum so I'd never do that lol
My programs can easily be sandboxed and checked in Anubis as well.

Any update on your scan, @"Profanity"?

Did a Rootkit remover, Malwarebytes scan, and a Anti Virus scan.
All is good! Thanks for the help guys!
