Hi guys, recently someone has sent a mass spoofed email to a lot of emails.. anyways, here is what the message says

Dear Player,

This is an automated message sent to inform you that your account has been suspended for Real World Trading. Please visit the Appeal section under Account Management to view evidence of your offence and to appeal any offence(s) that you feel were unjustified.

To view the evidence please click here: https://secure.runescape.com/m=webl...ppeal&ssl=1&expired=0&dest=account_history.ws

Please note: Due to a recent bug in our offence system, some accounts may have received an void offence. The majority of void offences have been removed but we can not ensure that all offences have been removed. We apologize for this and urge you to visit the appeal section to appeal any unjustified offences that were received due to system errors.

Many thanks, Jagex Ltd.

The link shows https://secure.runescape.com/m=webl...ppeal&ssl=1&expired=0&dest=account_history.ws
, but in reality it is "munescape.dyndns.info" (if you hover over it)

Anyways, this is just a warning.. do not get tricked by this.

(Message sent on March 27, 2011.)

Edit: I do not give a shit if it's common sense, if you know it's common sense, then don't fucking post on this thread.

Thanks for warning everyone just in case :). I know a lot of people would get tricked by this.

It's just common sense not to go on that, and if you do then you should be hacked.

There's thousands upon thousands of these going around.. They're so fail.
If you're going to phish somebody, at least get a domain name that LOOKS like it's legit -.-

No, it spoofs the URL saying it's "Runescape.com" but if you hover over the link in the email, it says someshit.dyndns.com

This is a good one.

Yeah i actually received this email but i quickly realized it was a phisher.

Its common sense. You must be completely oblivious to fall for one of these.

Thanks to give the community a heads up i did not get one of these emails though.

i got this message literally 10 minutes ago, at first i was like Oooooh Shit.. but then i randomly looked here and saw it and you saved my Accc - TY :D
