Does xbox live use much bandwidth?

I may move into my friends house, they dont have internet so I would have to get an internet stick of like 5gb for xbox live, how long do you recon it would take to rip through that just playing fifa and cod?

I use 500mb - 200mb upload. it won't last for a week.

But when I used to go over the download limit so my internet would be running at 7kb/sec it ran fine still

Even if you went over, that I'm guessing was when you were on a plan.
If you go over it on a stick, that's it.

Yeah I know, but what I'm saying is if I could play fine on 7kb/sec then I didnt think it would use much bandwidth

You'd probably go through it in a week if you nerd it out (5/6 hrs a day), regular play of an hour/two hours a day and it MAY, MAY last 3/4 weeks.
