I'm not trying to force anyone to stop smoking. I'm saying that it's bad for you and you should consider stopping for all the reasons mentioned. Why you being so sensitive?

Tbh, I wouldn't care about smoking, except until I read about how secondhand smoke seriously ruins more people than actual normal smoking, and how its actually worse than actually smoking. Then I was like, OH HELL NAW.

That's assuming that you're around a smoker every cigarette that they have and every single bit of smoke goes into your lungs. If you inhaled cigarette smoke a couple of times it would literally have no effect unless you had SERIOUS issues with your lungs already.

Yeah, the biggest role models in my life have; sister, grandmother, and father. I know it will eventually, either that or my horrible diet. It's either I smoke or I end up hating my life with all the stress I have. I know there's other ways to deal with it but i found mine and i'm happy.

If you know what smoking can do to your body and deliberately chose to continue smoking, there's nothing I can do and I'm not going to try to force you to stop. This thread was meant to be informative. I really don't appreciate everyone telling me to mind my own business and so on and so forth when all I'm trying to do is essentially help smokers live healthier.

Smoking was the reason I got my first job, people say if you don't smoke you can save up a lot of money, I wouldn't have a job if it wasn't for smoking, nor would I have had the motivation to work.

I used to occasionally forget to brush my teeth and before bed sometimes I would just say I'm too tired, now every morning and night I brush my teeth and tongue, no exception.

I wasn't able to run as much as I wanted to due to smoking so I began jogging for fitness.

Yes smoking takes up a hell of a lot of cash, I consider it a luxury item, do you have any idea how much luxury items cost? A lot less then smoking.

What the hell? Smoking doesn't affect your motivation to do something.. YOU do. How in the world would smoking help you get a job and brush your teeth? Ridiculous. Some people do have a more relaxed feeling from smoking but it doesn't affect their actions.

Motivations work by the things around us, we have to be determined and want it bad enough, we can't just say one day, I guess I'll do this, it won't work.

Cigarettes are something that are poor, yes, bad for you, yes.
In doing so it's given me tremendous motivation to help my life for the better.
I'm not saying the effects cancel each other out, I grew up with a mother who smoked, a brother who smoked and a sister who continues to smoke, I've seen what cigarettes can do to people and how they effect you. All I can do is prepare myself to the fullest to take on WHATEVER comes next.

From reading @"Solidify"'s thread all I could think of was that he was trying to put his ways onto everyone else. What's next, a thread on how chocolate is bad for you and that it contains X amount of fat and that it can cause diabetes, diabetes can cause a serious illness etc.

Did you even read my OP; the parts that said smoking affect the environment, the people around you, etc. Smokers are not the only ones being affected. Smokers piss a lot of other people off that don't smoke as well. You guys need to respect that.
