Do you guys think we really have free wills?


I think so, no one can make us do anything we do not want to do, we are free in many ways, we are caught up in petty rules in my opinion.

I think we have free wills. We unfortunately have to pay a lawyer to keep that free will since out government likes to try to monopolize it's citizens, but in the end we will eventually all die happily because nobody wants to suffer. That is the true free will is to never suffer.

None of us have free will. None of us chose to be born. None of us chose what we would look like, what our genetic inheritance would be, what country/state/city/home/family/financial situation we would be born into. If you think you have free will, you're living a lie. You are forced to conform to law, punishment, society. If you dont, you'll either be killed or put in a 4x4 cement box for the rest of your life.

You didnt choose your brain, how smart you would be, what skills you would be prone to developing, you dont even remember most of your life. /thread

It's a bit of a paradox. Humans have no choice but to have free will. I'm sure you can see how that is an extremely paradoxical statement.

We're all products of our environments and thus have a predisposition to most things based on that.
