Do you put money in the tip jar or give directly to the person who serve you?

After ordering your foods in any restaurant or cafe you also giving some tip to people who serve you or you put it in the tip jars?(the tip jars places near at the counter).
I think every restaurant has a tip jar but it depends on you if you give it to them directly.

I'd give it straight to the person. I prefer giving it to an individual rather than as a team. This is because I may not be satisfied with the restaurant as a whole, but am satisfied with how the staff served me.

Yes mate i also doing it,but there is some restaurant's that their is tip jar,so all the staff have equal getting from the tip.in other hand that is also a good idea because all of them are tired of whole day working.

I normally give the tip to the envelope containing the bill. I don't give tips in the tip jar.
